Reverie (1 oz ball): 22 balls (Blue)

Knitting Needles: One pair “Boye” 14-inch Size 9 and one crochet hook Size G

Gauge: 1 pattern to 2¼ inches

PATTERN STITCH: Multiple of 8 sts plus 5.

Cast on 173.

Row 1 Right side: Sl 1, K 1, * K 2, K 2 tog, yo, K 1, yo, sl 1, K 1, psso, K 1, repeat from * to last 3 sts, K 3.

Row 2 and All Even Rows: Sl 1, K 1, P to last 2 sts, K 2.

Row 3: Sl 1, K 1, * K 1, K 2 tog, yo, K 3, yo, sl 1, K 1, psso, repeat from * to last 3 sts, K 3.

Row 5: Sl 1, K 1, K 2 tog, * yo, K 5, yo, sl 1, K 2 tog, psso, repeat from * to last 9 sts, yo, K 5, yo, sl 1, K 1, psso, K 2.

Rows 7, 9 and 11: Sl 1, K 1, * K 1, yo, sl 1, K 1, psso, K 3, K 2 tog, yo, repeat from * to last 3 sts, K 3.

Row 13: Sl 1, K 1, * K 2, yo, sl 1, K 1, psso, K 1, K 2 tog, yo, K 1, repeat from * to last 3 sts, K 3.

Row 15: Sl 1, K 1, * K 3, yo, sl 1, K 2 tog, psso, yo, K 2, repeat from * to last 3 sts, K 3.

Row 16: Repeat Row 2. Repeat these 16 rows for pat, working to about 70 inches, end with Row 16. Bind off loosely.

On right side, crochet 1 row of sc around, inc’ing in corners to keep work flat.

FRINGE: Wind yarn around a 6½-inch cardboard. Cut at one end. Fold and knot 2 strands in each st on cast-on and bound-off edges. Trim.
