Sage Throw Pattern

A richly textures throw pattern.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
34″ x 50″ without fringe

MATERIALS:
Caron International’s Wintuk 10 skeins Sage
Circular 10.5 needles and Size G crochet hook

PLEASE NOTE: Yarn usage may vary depending on your particular yarn techniques.

GAUGE
4 sts & 6 rows of pattern stitch = 1″

PATTERN STITCH
Row 1: P1, *yb (yarn back), sl 3 as to purl, yf (yarn front), P1, repeat from * to end.
Row 2: Knit.
Row 3: Purl
Row 4: K2, * Knit bar from row 1 and next st on left-hand needle together, K3, repeat from * to last 2 sts, end K2.
Row 5: P3, * yb, sl 3, yf, P1, repeat from * to last 3 sts, end P3.
Row 6: Knit..
Row 7: Purl.
Row 8: K4, * knit bar and next st as before, K3, repeat from * to last 4 sts, end K4.
Repeat these 8 rows for pattern.
Cast on 129 stitches. Work seed stitch (Row 1: K1, P1, repeat across, ending with K1.
Row 2: P1, K1 repeat across, ending with P1.) for 2 inches. On last row, work seed stitch for 10 sts, place marker, work seed stitch to within last 10 sts, place marker, work seed stitch to end. On next row work seed stitch to marker, begin with row 1 of pattern. Work to marker. Work seed stitch to end.
