The Koigu ruffles play off the color, the matte texture & the severity of garter stitch. It becomes this weirdly cool kitten with a whip thing.
You don’t have enough Koigu? I’ve seen it done with half the ruffles. Won the lottery or sleeping with your LYS owner? I’ve seen it done with double ruffles all over.
