This hat features a classic Nordic-style snowflake motif worked in stranded colourwork. The design uses two (or sometimes more) colours per round to create intricate geometric bands — snowflakes, stars, or star-like motifs — that wrap around the hat’s body.

You work the hat in the round from brim to crown. A snug ribbed edge gives a comfortable fit, then the patterned colourwork section builds the main body. As you shape the crown, the motifs taper gracefully into a final top, often forming a subtle star or snowflake-inspired crown pattern.
