Lace Pattern (No. 6 needles)

Row 1 (RS): K2, yo, sl1, k2 tog, psso, yo, k3; repeat from * to end, end k5 instead of k3
Row 2: Purl across
Row 3: K5, *yo, sl1, k2 tog, psso, yo, k3; repeat from * to end, end k2 instead of k3
Row 4: Purl across
Repeat these 4 rows for lace pattern.

Back

With No. 1 needles, cast on 104 (112, 120) sts.
Work K1, P1 rib for 3″.
Switch to No. 3 needles, stockinette stitch. Work 1″ even.
Increase 1 st each end, then every ½” 8 times → 122 (130, 138) sts.
Work even until piece measures 12 (12, 13)”. Place a center marker.

Armholes

Bind off 8 (9, 10) sts at beginning of next 2 rows.
Decrease 1 st each end every other row 3 times → 100 (106, 112) sts, ending with a knit row.

Back Opening

Switch to No. 6 needles, lace pattern.
