These little egg holders are seamless and worked entirely in the round from the bottom up. Instructions are given specifically for working on 4 double-pointed needles, but you could use any small circular method you prefer.
Uses just small amounts of DK or light worsted yarn, good for using up scraps.
Size is approximately 4 cm (1 1/2 inches) in height and the inner circumference is about 13 cm (5 inches). They should fit most hens’ eggs, providing the gauge is obtained.
