Construction Notes

The hat and cowl are both worked in the round from the bottom up.
Colorwork is achieved through stranded knitting and is charted only. Catch floats approximately every 5 stitches, being careful not to pull the yarn too tightly across the back. The crown of the hat is shaped using double-pointed needles.

Broken Rib stitch is used for the borders, adding structure and a clean finish.
