Here at Simply Knitting we have a bit of a soft spot for knitted
food. But when it serves a functional purpose as well we can
only just contain ourselves! This cupcake pin cushion is large
enough that you won’t lose your trusty pins, and so delicious that
your friends will all want one of their own. You may find that you
are taking orders…
Designer Faye Perriam says, “This is a great pattern to start with
if you’ve never used DPNs before. Using an i-cord cast on means
that you don’t have to join in the round and so there’s no worry
about twisting your stitches. It’s also small enough that you’ll be
able to see your success in no time at all.”
