The Skinny Scarf Knitting Pattern

A simple, lightweight scarf with an open eyelet pattern and relaxed rolled edges. This easy two-row repeat makes a long, narrow scarf that works especially well with lace-weight yarn.

Materials

  • Yarn: Lace-weight yarn, approximately 420 yards (384 m)
  • Needles: 4 mm knitting needles

The original scarf was knitted using Noro Sekku, but any suitable lace-weight yarn can be substituted. Because yarns vary, choose a yarn that creates a soft, lightweight fabric when worked on 4 mm needles.
