The inspiration for the shawl is the iconic Le Klint 172S pendant with its organic folds that flow around the lamp and makes the light change nuances depending on the fold.
In the shawl the folds are represented in the changing nuances and the way they are knit so they almost fold in and out of each other.
The open increases let the light shine through, while the lines of the decrease create shadows in the pattern.
