This sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up to the armholes, where it is then divided to work the front and back separately and flat. The sleeves are also knit in the round before the sleeve caps are finished flat and sewn into place. The design features a decorative chart pattern on the body and uses wrap-and-turn short rows for shoulder shaping.

Yarn: 5 (5, 6, 6, 6, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9) skeins of Cascade Yarns® MeriKash (80% Extra-Fine Merino Wool / 20% Cashmere; 100 g / 255 yds).

Needles: * US 5 (3.75 mm) circular knitting needles (24–32” long) and double-pointed needles.

  • US 4 (3.5 mm) circular knitting needles (16” and 24–32” long) and double-pointed needles.

Notions: * Yarn needle.

  • 6 stitch markers (including one unique marker for the beginning of the round).
  • Stitch holders.
