Glove Pattern, 1947

I know this is a pretty generic four-needle glove pattern but, dude! it comes in like eleven different sizes.

by The Vintage Stitch-O-Rama.

This pattern knits a classic, vintage-style pair of gloves, worked to fit a range of hand sizes. The construction uses four-needle (or multi-needle) knitting to shape each finger and thumb, producing a fitted glove that follows the hand’s contours.

Because the pattern includes several sizes, it offers flexibility — useful whether you’re knitting for yourself or gifting. When worked in fine yarn (as originally intended), the gloves come out neat and relatively delicate — ideal for a classic vintage look, especially with smooth wool or fine yarn.

These gloves have that timeless, mid-century charm: structured, tailored, but handcrafted — perfect for someone who enjoys vintage-inspired knitting projects.
