Making an Aran pattern afghan and am trying to work out a stitch called “snake stitch” described as follows ‘ P2, sk 2 sts, k next st, k 2 skipped sts, sl knitted st already worked off left hand needle’ Well, I am an experienced knitter of Aran patterns but this has me totally bamboozled. No matter how I try it, it doesn’t seem to work, so thought I could google it, to see if anyone else has knitted it. Your stitch is not exactly the same but I might have to substitute it for the patterns one. Any suggestions???? Cheers and have a nice day.

I think this snake/wave cable needs a small edit, I think it’s a 10 stitch pattern, not 8. So cast on multiples of 10. Then it works nicely.

How is this stitch knit if working in the Round?
