Intertwined Lace Cable Chart

 (The number of stitches is divisible by 26 + 1 + 2 selvage stitches) knit according to the chart provided for right-side and wrong-side rows. Begin with 1 selvage stitch, repeat rapport A continuously, end with the stitch after rapport A and 1 selvage stitch. Repeat rows 1-40 in height.

Legend / Symbols:

  • I = 1 knit stitch
  • _ = 1 purl stitch
  • U = 1 yarn over (yo)
  • v with a 2 on top = Knit 2 together (k2tog)
  • arrow down = Slip 1 knitwise, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over (ssk or skp)
  • arrow up = Slip 2 stitches together knitwise, knit 1, pass both slipped stitches over (s2kp or central double decrease)

Cable Instructions:

  • [ 3 / \ 3 ] = Cable 6 stitches to the right: Slip 3 stitches onto a cable needle and hold behind work, knit 3, then knit the 3 stitches from the cable needle.
  • [ 3 \ / 3 ] = Cable 6 stitches to the left: Slip 3 stitches onto a cable needle and hold in front of work, knit 3, then knit the 3 stitches from the cable needle.
