Knitted Leaf in Reverse Stockinette Free Knitting Stitch.
I am really getting into lacy leaf knitting stitches right now! this one is so easy to create, just follow the steps below for a unique and pretty leaf stitch on a reverse stockinette base.
This is what the knitting stitch looks like on the back of the work.
yo = yarn over
k2tog = knit 2 stitches together
ssk = slip, slip, knit slipped stitches tog. Creates a decrease.
s2kp2 = centered double decrease: slip two stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, then pass the two slipped stitches over.
Note: Please refer to “lace stitches” for a deeper explanation of the stitches mentioned above.

Do you like this yarn?
It is Manos del Uruguay Fino the shade is called Corsage, it’s a blend of 70% merino wool & 30% silk. I wasn’t sponsored to use this yarn, I just came across it at my local yarn store and loved the feel of this yarn and the lovely multi dimensional lavender shade.
