Moss and Stoking Cable Check Stitch

Pretty knitting stitch with moss and stockinette checked cables. I knitted this dishcloth out of 100% pure cotton and added a moss stitch edging.

Abbreviations:

k = knit
p = purl
c4b = slip 2 stitches onto cable needle and hold at the back of the work, k2, then k2 from cable needle
c4f = slip 2 stitches onto cable needle and hold at the front of the work, k2, then k2 from cable needle

Cast on multiples of 20 + 12

Row 1 (RS): p2, k8, p2, *(k1, p1) x 3, k2, p2, k8, p2; rep from * to end
Row 2: k2, p8, k2, *(p1, k1) x 3, p2, k2, p8, k2; rep from * to end
Rows 3, 5, 7: Repeat row 1
Rows 4, 6, 8: Repeat row 2
Row 9: p2, *c4b, c4f, p2; rep from * to end
Row 10: k2, (p1, k1) x3, p2, k2 * p8, k2, (p1, k1) x 3, p2, k2; rep from * to end
Row 11: p2, (k1, p1) x 3, k2, p2, *k8, p2, (k1, p1) x 3, k2, p2; rep from * to end
Rows 12, 14, 16, 18: Repeat row 10
Rows 13, 15, 17: Repeat row 11
