“Beaufort” uses 2 balls of Jo Sharp Desert Garden Aran Cotton for the small or medium size, which will fit a small-medium child, and a medium child-medium adult, respectively; the large size requires 3 balls. The crown decreases are worked quite nicely into the stitch pattern, if I do say so myself.
