love the pattern…what type of yarn and needle size is required for a baby blanket?

  3. Knitting Bee Avatar

    Hi!
I usually like to use 4 ply for baby items and needle size between 3mm and 4mm. But it depends on your knitting, I knit quite tight.

Anyone out there can lend their opinion on this?

In looking at the pattern you have listed t4b with instructions as how to do that, but I don’t see t4b used in any of the pattern rows. I plan to start knitting as soon as I hear from you, since I don’t want to make a mistake so please explain. THANK YOU!!

You are right, there is no t4b, thanks for spotting that, I triple check things but some things my mind just misses, I will remove it!

Love your pattern, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for sharing and posting this. I am fairly new to knitting and wonder how I can adapt your pattern to circular needles? Can you help me? Thanks ever so much.

I haven’t tested this, but to do it in the round: knit the odd numbered rows as written. Even rows: read from right to left and do the opposite for each stitch; I.e., if it says knit 6, you’ll purl 6. If it says purl 6, you’ll knit 6, etc.
